Buchanan Street Partners, a nationally recognized real estate investment management firm based in Newport Beach that focuses on making debt and equity investments in commercial and multifamily real estate, has announced the promotion of Tom Downes to Senior Vice President, Investor Relations.
Downes is responsible for growing Buchanan’s network of investment advisors, family offices and high-net-worth investors, as well as assisting the Investor Relations team in servicing Buchanan’s broad base of investors. Additionally, Downes is responsible for sourcing capital for Buchanan’s various equity funds, including single asset partnerships offered by the firm. He also assists with raising capital for Buchanan’s lending affiliate.
Downes has been an integral part of expanding Buchanan’s presence within the investment
advisory community since he started with the firm in 2020.
