C.J. Segerstrom & Sons in Costa Mesa, which operates South Coast Plaza among other local properties, has hired Brent Taravella as its new chief financial officer.Â
Previously, Taravella was executive VP and CFO for CenterCal Properties based in El Segundo. Â
“Brent is a valuable new addition to our senior executive leadership team. His experience and expertise are important as we explore opportunities for the future,” chief executive Greg Miller said.Â
Tarvella brings financial executive experience in the commercial real estate and shopping center sectors to the Segerstrom team, including over 20 years of background in media executive positions. His resume includes senior VP of Caruso Affiliated, which owns The Grove and The Americana, VP of finance at Fox Television Studios and CFO at iHeartMedia. Â
With an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, Taravella is a certified public accountant and currently lives in Culver City with his husband and family.
