HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Axonics Modulation Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AXNX) rose 6.1% to $23.45 per share for a market cap of $666 million. Yahoo! Finance posted a report yesterday saying that “hedge funds have never been this bullish on Axonics.”
TECHNOLOGY
Smith Micro Software Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI) of Aliso Viejo fell 4.5% to $5.06 per share for a market cap of $187 million. The stock has lost about 17% in value since announcing its third-quarter financial results last Thursday, Seeking Alpha said “the disappointment seems to be the result of the lack of announcement of new carriers.”
