Ingram Still Buying

Ingram Micro closed on the purchase of Abbakan, a Paris-based cybersecurity services firm, on undisclosed terms.

Irvine-based Ingram is the world’s largest wholesale technology distributor and the biggest OC company by revenue, with $50 billion in annually; it works in 52 countries with 1,700 suppliers, and 300,000 resellers.

It’s owned by a unit of China-based HNA Group, which is reportedly trying to sell Ingram for $7.5 billion.

For more on Ingram’s Abbakan acquisition see the July 15 print edition of the Business Journal.
