Hooray Agency Wins Contract With Advantego

Hooray Agency has won plenty of plaudits for its recent campaigns, such as new branding and merchandising logo for the U.S. Open Championship, which took place at Pebble Beach last month.

Now, it’s winning kudos from Denver-based software firm Advantego Corp. (OTCQB: ADGO), which has hired the Irvine agency.

“This is the culmination of many months of looking for the right fit that could deliver the wow factor from a marketing perspective,” Advantego Chief Executive Rob Ferguson said in a press release.

“We are now hopeful of achieving the same types of results that the world saw in Hooray’s work … during the coverage of golf’s U.S. Open at Pebble Beach,” he said.

The big problem is Advantego is a penny stock that reported all of $200,000 in revenue in 2018 and a loss of $1.25 million. Its auditor issued a “going concern” note in Advantego’s annual report. It reported $8,325 in first-quarter sales that ended March 31, down from $44,000 a year ago.

Advantego provides software development, product design, licensing and distribution services for third-party software and electronic hardware companies. In May, it announced a deal with Aska Electronics Co. of China, a manufacturer of Bluetooth headphones, sport earbuds and associated listening devices, and provides its products as an OEM and as an ODM for projects worldwide. Advantego will provide branding, sales and distribution for Aska.

Hooray will provide branding, marketing and creative content to Advantego for all of its products, services, and customers.

“This new relationship with Advantego will be an intriguing assignment as it allows us to spread our wings even further into other product areas,” Hooray President Steven Seghers said in a statement.

“Having won the contract from the USGA for this year four years ago, we made a significant investment in creative and strategic talent, which in turn allowed us to undertake branding initiatives on a scale we’d only dared to imagine in the past,” Seghers said.

Hooray underwent its own brand refresh earlier this year—changing its name from Hyperdisk Marketing. At the time, Seghers said the 25-year-old company needed to broaden its appeal “as a complete marketing partner.”

Other recent wins include the global advertising assignment for SCP Hotels, Preferred Hotels & Resorts and branding work for Balboa Bay Resort.
