Pacifica Hotels in Irvine will manage the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, an 84-room art deco hotel built in 1933 and owned by 4DS Inc.
Pacifica has been growing its management business, taking on operations at La Jolla Cove Suites, and will run Inn at the Pier in Pismo Beach, which opens this year.
It meanwhile sold the 80-room Sommerset Suites in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego for $19.5 million to Sentre Partners, also in San Diego. The hotel was built as an apartment complex in 1986, converted to hospitality use in the 1990s, and will be returned to residential use.
