Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 fell 0.11% to 1,993.56 in midday trading.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.21% to 17,036.98 and the Nasdaq fell 0.24% to 4,575.55.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond fell 0.2% to 2.53%.

The price of gold was down 0.32% to $1,245.

APPAREL

Foothill Ranch-based Wet Seal Inc. was up 9% to $0.74 and a market cap of $62.3 million. Los Angeles-based B. Riley & Co. upgraded its stock to “buy” from “neutral” and increased its target price for shares to $1.50 from $0.90. The analyst firm cited the return of Edmond Thomas as Chief Executive as a reason for the upgrade.
