The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.07% to 16,513.78, while the Nasdaq was up 0.64% to 4,153.52.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond rose 0.34% to 2.70%.
The price of gold was up 0.53% to $1,291.40 per ounce.
TECHNOLOGY
Santa Ana-based Ingram Micro Inc. slumped about 12% to $26.76 after reporting an adjusted first-quarter profit that missed Wall Street expectations. Ingram is the world’s largest distributor of computers, software and other technology products and had a recent market value of $4.14 billion
FINANCE
First American Financial Corp. rose about 6% to $27.61 after reporting better than expected first-quarter results before market open. First American had a recent market value of $2.93 billion.
