Drug maker Avanir Pharmaceuticals Inc. received $30 million in debt financing from Oxford Finance LLC and Silicon Valley Bank.
Aliso Viejo-based Avanir plans to use the money to add products and for working capital.
The company’s main drug, Nuedexta, treats pseudobulbar affect, a disorder that is marked by uncontrollable outbursts of laughing or crying. Nuedexta received regulatory approval a year ago.
