Newport Beach-based biotechnology firm Joseph and Gionis LLC has signed a five-year deal to distribute products of Bend, Ore.-based U.S. Rare Earth Minerals Inc. in the Middle East.
Rare Earth makes minerals and nutrients for a number of markets, including agriculture, livestock, home and garden, and health. The products are sold under the Excelerite brand, and are based on the company’s mining activities in Nevada.
Joseph and Gionis also has an office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The company, led by Chief Executive Thomas Gionis and Vice President Walid Yousef, is a subsidiary of the Joseph and Gionis International Law Firm.
The biotech subsidiary counts clients in industries ranging from environmental engineering to nutrition and education. The roster includes Irvine-based Branan Medical Corp., San Diego-based Envision Solar, and Celsius Holdings Inc. in Boca Raton, Fla., among others.
