2006 Predictions
I noticed Rick Reiff’s prescient 2006 prediction that Chapman’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts will buy Paramount Pictures.
Actually, we did take a look at Paramount but decided to take a pass.
We believe their studio facilities are not nearly as technologically advanced and digital-ready as our forthcoming Marion Knott Studios, scheduled to open in September.
As a result, we concluded that a
Paramount acquisition would not be
accretive to Chapman and the Dodge College.
