CT Realty Corp. of Newport Beach paid $8 million to Corona Apartments LLC for the 83-unit Corona Village Apartments at 901 to 915 S. Smith Ave. in Corona. The complex was 95% occupied at the time of sale. Brian Hawkins and Peter Hauser of Hendricks & Partners Inc. negotiated the deal for both parties.
Watercraft retailer Mission Motorsports paid $3.3 million to The Irvine Company’s Irvine Community Development Co. for 2.6 acres of land at 1 Doppler in Irvine. The parcel is intended for a 39,564-square-foot showroom and a retail and service center. Mark Sigler and Chris Deason of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the buyer. Mike Hartel and Kevin Turner of Colliers Seeley International Inc. represented the seller.
San Francisco-based builder Swinerton Inc. paid $3.2 million to the Gary T. Wescombe Trust for a 20,500-square-foot office building at 17731 Mitchell North in Irvine. Mark Weeks and John Griffin of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the seller. Drew Netherton of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented the buyer.
William Gregory III paid $2.5 million to A.C. Industrial Properties for a 19,271-square-foot research and development building at 3587 to 3589 N. Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa. Chris Migliori of DAUM Commercial Real Estate represented the seller. Jamie Al-Jamie of Available Properties represented the buyer.
AudioVideo Designs paid $845,000 to the R.G. Peters Family Trust for a 5,984-square-foot industrial building at 23455 Madero in Mission Viejo. Scott Garmon of the Scott Garmon Co. and Greg Brown of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller. Dean Krieger of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. represented the buyer.
LEASES
Miami-based Vitas Healthcare Corp. leased 13,381 square feet of office space at 220 Commerce Drive in Irvine. The seven-year deal is valued at $1.6 million. Michael R. Dorsey of Grubb & Ellis represented the lessee. Landlord The Irvine Company of Newport Beach represented itself.
