OC Schools Rank in New Report

University of California-Irvine snagged several high rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s annual schools rankings.

UCI came in at No. 25 for its education school, the same as last year. Its law school ranks No. 28, also unchanged and tied with Washington and Lee University. Its engineering school placed No. 37, and its Paul Merage School of Business tied for No. 44 with Boston College and Boston University. UCI’s research medical school took No. 48 in a tie with University of Miami, and its primary care medical school is No. 71, tied with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the University of Kentucky. UCI placed No. 82 for its master’s program in nursing.

California State University-Fullerton’s master’s program in nursing came in at No. 131, tied with Georgia College & State University, James Madison University, the University of Alabama-Huntsville and University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

Brandman University in Irvine placed No. 107 for its nursing doctorate program, tied with Indiana State University and Kent State University. Cal State Fullerton placed No. 116 in the category, tied with the University of Alabama-Huntsville, University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio and Wright State University.

Chapman University’s College of Educational Studies tied at No. 172 with California State University-East Bay, East Tennessee State University, Tennessee Technological University, University of Toledo, Western Kentucky University and Louisiana Tech University.
