Irvine-based Alphaeon Corp. said today that it named former Securities and Exchange Commissioner Christopher Cox and Silicon Valley executive Dennis Wolf to its board of directors.
Alphaeon is a “lifestyle healthcare company” that works with doctors to provide services and products that are not paid for by health insurance.
Cox was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives before his tenure in charge of the SEC. He has served as a board special advisor to Alphaeon over the past year.
Wolf is chief financial officer of Santa Clara-based DataStax Inc., a computer software company.
