The Orange County Business Journal is currently accepting nominations for The Sixth Annual GENERAL COUNSEL AWARDS. The program is designed to recognize the significant role in-house counsels play in the success of businesses within our community. Nominees must be a general counsel based in Orange County, except nominees for the Rising Star category, who may be GCs or other senior in-house legal professionals. This is the perfect opportunity to recognize clients or business associates who have distinguished themselves through their determination, resolve and achievements. Self-nominations welcome.
OBTAIN THE NOMINEE’S CONSENT to participate in this awards program.
ALL SECTIONS of the nomination form must be completed for consideration by the Selection Committee. (complete online, or submit PDF form via e-mail or fax).
UPLOAD a detailed statement of the nominee’s accomplishments in the following areas (a) within his/her organization, (b) contributions to the profession and (c) to the Orange County community (use online form or upload file). Financial data is encouraged, but is not mandatory (PLEASE NOTE: Unless requested otherwise, financial data may be included in the nominee’s bio in the General Counsel Awards Advertising Supplement).
UPLOAD a full-color, high-resolution digital head-and-shoulders photo of the nominee.

The Orange County Business Journal will publish a special General Counsel Advertising Supplement featuring profiles and photos of this year’s nominees in our October 19, 2015 issue.
Winners will be announced at the Sixth Annual General Counsel Awards Dinner & Program on November 19, 2015, at the Hotel Irvine.
