The Orange County chapter of Tech Coast Angels named David Friedman president to succeed Hicham Semaan.
Friedman was previously a vice president; heโll serve two years in the top slot. Semaan continues on the presidentโs council, which includes another vice president, Lisa Walker, and Jim Pickell, the chapterโs fund manager.
TCA also added two council positions: Volker Huther to oversee partnerships, and Eelco Neirmeijer, heading up events and education.
Friedman estimated the OC chapter began the year with 70 to 80 members; about 75% have contributed to its fund.
