The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was up 1.3% to 2.33%.
The price of gold was down 0.1% to $1,284.
The price of oil rose 0.4% to $58.16 a barrel.
HEALTHCARE
Axonics Modulation Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AXNX) was up 5.6% to $32.01 with a market cap of $905 million. The S&P 500 Health Care index today also rose 0.4%. Shares of the Irvine-based company, which makes medical devices to treat bladder and incontinence, have risen 126% this year.
Newport Beach-based Botox competitor Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) was down 5.1% to $16.07 with a market cap of $443.9 million. This week the company’s largest shareholder Alphaeon Corp. in Irvine completed the sale of 4 million shares, reducing its ownership from 56% to below 40%.
