TECHNOLOGY
CalAmp Corp. (Nasdaq: CAMP) in Irvine was up 1.1% to $24.68 and an $879 million market cap. Shares in the fleet management software maker were upgraded to “overweight” from “equal-weight” by First Analysis with a price target of $29. Newport Beach-based Roth Capital Partners initiated coverage on CalAmp earlier this month with a “buy” rating and a $28 price target.
HEALTHCARE
Avid Bioservices Inc. (CDMO) in Tustin was up 5.9% to $2.51 and a $114 million market cap. The contract drug maker priced a secondary offering yesterday at $2.25 a share, about a dollar below where Avid started the week.
