S&P 500 was down 0.2% to 4,107.34 in midday trading while the Dow 30 was off 0.1% to 32,874.71 and the Nasdaq declined 0.5% to 12,021.29.
Crude oil fell 0.3% to $121.74 a barrel.
Gold was off 0.2% to $1,852.30 an ounce.
The yield on the 10-year bond climbed 1% to 3.059%.
ENERGY:
Newport Beach’s Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) rose 11% to $6.38 and a $1.4 billion market cap. Volume was almost twice the daily average. Shares of the supplier of renewable natural gas have risen 59% since their 52-week low of $4.02 a month ago when it reported first-quarter results.
MEDIA
Irvine’s Vizio Holding Corp. fell 7.9% to $8.63 and a $1.7 billion market cap. Volume was about a quarter of the daily average. Shares of the TV maker yesterday had climbed 8%.
