Indexes jumped as investors worried less over rising inflation and purchased falling technology stocks.
The S&P; rose 1.05% to 4,508.08.The Dow 30 was up 0.7% at 34,796.02.The Nasdaq jumped 1.7% to 14,078.30.Crude oil fell 0.5% to $111.60 a barrel.Gold dropped 0.5% to $1,920 an ounce.The yield on a 10-year bond surged 2.8% to 2.3790.
ELECTRIC VEHICLESRivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) jumped 7.3% to $46.74 per share and a $41.2 billion market cap. Shares in the Irvine-based electric vehicle maker have rebounded 30% since their all-time low on March 14 after forecasting production lower than expected this year.Â
TECHNOLOGYAlteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) surged 7.4% to $69.02 per share and a $4.7 billion market cap. Shares for the Irvine-based data analytics software company have moved upwards 28% since March 14.
