The price for a barrel of oil increased 0.7% to $72.54.
RESTAURANTS
Kura Sushi USA Inc. (Nasdaq: KRUS) jumped 9% to $71.93 and a $698 million market cap. Shares are up 31% since Nov. 11 when the Irvine-based restaurant chain announced fiscal fourth quarter results, saying all 32 of its restaurants were open with indoor capacity at 100%.

Indie Semiconductor Inc. (Nasdaq: INDI) climbed 8.3% to $14.71 and a $1.9 billion market cap. The Aliso Viejo based chipmaker today announced its “breakthrough” Surya LiDAR system on a chip that enables autonomous driving functionality.Â
