The Nasdaq climbed 0.4% to 14,586.40.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond decreased 2.6% to 1.24%.

The price of gold was flat at 1,784.60 an ounce.

The price for a barrel of oil dropped 4% to $62.84.

TECHNOLOGY 

Irvine-based online gambling tech company GAN Ltd. (Nasdaq: GAN) increased 4.41% to $14.45 and a $606.12 million market cap. The company on Aug. 16 announced second-quarter revenue of $34.6 million—a 24% increase from its first quarter results—driven by growing B2C sales primarily in Latin America and Northern Europe.

Ad tech company Viant Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: DSP) of Irvine fell 4.6% to $13.93 per share and a market cap of $841.76 million. The company today announced the appointment of Lisa Harrington to a newly created position of chief legal officer, reporting to CEO Tim Vanderhook. Shares in the company have dropped in half since it went public in February.
