San Juan Capistrano-based nursing home and rehab care facility operator The Ensign Group (Nasdaq: ENSG) rose 6.8% to $80.43 per share for a market cap of $4.4 billion. Zacks Equity Research reported today the company has gone on a “buyout spree” with the recent acquisition of three skilled nursing facilities and their operations in Southern California.
