Data analytics software maker Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) postponed an analyst day that had been scheduled for this coming Tuesday in Laguna Beach, due to the spreading coronavirus.
“Alteryx intends to announce a new date for the event and anticipates that it will be held in conjunction with Analyticon, the company’s annual user conference to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, June 1-4,” the Irvine-based company said in a statement.
“At this time of uncertainty, including recent reported cases of the virus in Los Angeles County, the health and safety of our employees, investors and the general public is our top priority,” the statement added.
Shares in Alteryx rose 0.5% to $134.90 apiece in after-hours trading.
