AUTOMOTIVE
Shares in electric vehicle company Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) in Irvine rose 6.1% to $28.44 apiece for a market cap of $25.1 billion. The shares have risen almost 7% over the last month despite the continuing slew of challenges facing the company and the fledgling EV industry as a whole.
HEALTHCARE
Dental products supplier Envista Holdings Corp. (NYSE: NVST) in Brea fell 4.6% to $36.69 per share for a market cap of $6 billion. Investor website SimplyWallSt.Com said yesterday the company has a decelerating rate of return at 7.1% and below the medical equipment industry average of 8.8%.
