The company praised digital, its loyalty program, delivery and new menu items as factors helping it end the first half of 2021 with a comparable sales jump of 48.1% from the same period last year. The first half of 2021 also beat out pre-pandemic sales with the period up 35% from the first half of 2019.
About a year ago, the company added mobile ordering to its app, which helped lead to a bump in sales from its loyalty program members.
Mobile orders from members now outpace in-store orders, according to Juice It Up Vice President of Marketing Natalie Eaglin. The executive also said the company’s rewards program membership increased 50% since mobile ordering was added.
“The loyalty program continues to be a focus for franchisees in store as a way to promote continual engagement with the brand, which leads to increased frequency and sales from their guests,” Eaglin said.
Juice It Up counts more than 100 locations that are either operating or in development.
