Hyperice Announces Nike Collaboration

Unveils recovery shoes, vest

Irvine-based performance recovery brand Hyperice Inc. has partnered with sportswear giant Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE) on two new wearable technology products.

The Nike x Hyperice high-top boots combine heat and dynamic air-compression massage for athletes’ feet and ankles. It features Hyperice’s Normatec bladders to deliver heat deep into muscles and tissue.

The collaboration’s second product, the Nike x Hyperice vest, uses thermoelectric coolers for instant heating and cooling, aimed to help athletes adjust their body temperature during warm-ups and cool-downs.

“Since the inception of Hyperice, we have taken a lot of inspiration from Nike, from the care and innovation we put into our products to how we connect with the athlete,” Hyperice founder and President Anthony Katz said in a statement.

“This collaboration is the culmination of years of work between our two brands to deliver innovative footwear and apparel for the athlete with the goal of enhancing their performance and recovery. And this is just the start.”
