Gold declined 1.4% to $1,928 an ounce.
The yield on a 10-year bond jumped 2% to 2.3730.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) dropped 7.32% to $46.57 per share and a $41 billion market cap. Shares in the Irvine-based electric vehicle maker have been off about 74% since their peak last November.
REAL ESTATE
Santa Ana-based title insurer First American Financial Corp. (NYSE: FAF) slid 4.2% to $62.11 per share and a $6.8 billion market cap. Credit Suisse downgraded the stock’s rating to neutral from outperform today.
