Irvine-based Vizio Holding Corp. (NYSE: VZIO) fell 9% to $7.05 and a $1.4 billion market cap. Major Vizio shareholder Amtran Technology Co. sold 70,000 shares of the television manufacturer’s stock on Monday for an average price of $8.08 for a total value of $565,600. Shares, which are near the 52-week low of $6.62 seen in April, are trading at a third of their average daily volume.
CalAmp Corp. (Nasdaq: CAMP) decreased 7% to $4.33 per share and a $156 million market cap. Shares for the Irvine-based telematics firm hit a new 52-week low of $4.24 earlier Wednesday, and are down 38% since last week, when the company’s first quarter fiscal 2023 earnings missed analysts’ expectations.
