HEALTHCARE
Masimo Inc. (Nasdaq: MASI) in Irvine was up 9% to $108.88 and a $5.6 billion market cap. The device maker beat Wall Street expectations on revenue and income, reported a record-high in product shipments, and raised full-year guidance on revenue to $850 million from $836 million.
RESTAURANTS
Habit Restaurants Inc. was up 19% to $14.80 and a $388 million market cap. The fast casual burger chain reported higher revenue and income.
TECHNOLOGY
TTM Technologies Inc. was up 11% to $19.50 and a $2 billion market cap. The printed circuit board maker reported net sales of $717 million in its most recent quarter, up from $627 million year-over-year, and net income of $84 million, up from about $21 million year-over-year.
SERVICES
Emerald Expositions Inc. (EEX) was down 13% to $16.59 and a $1.2 billion market cap. The trade journal publisher and trade show operator reported higher revenue and net income but some of the results were attributed to one-time events and the company noted that quarterly strengths were offset by “decline in one of our large conferences [and] continued soft results in several of our publications.”
