CareTrust REIT Inc. (Nasdaq: CTRE) in San Clemente was up 8% to $15.14 and a $1.2 billion market cap. The health facility owner reported a 10% increase in quarterly funds from operations and 42% growth in net income, year-over-year.
ChromaDex Corp. (Nasdaq: CDXC) in Irvine was up 8% to $3.80 and a $208 million market cap. The nutritional ingredients maker reports results tomorrow.
MANUFACTURING
Kaiser Aluminum Corp. (Nasdaq: KALU) in Foothill Ranch was up 3.4% to $103.86 and a $1.8 billion market cap. The metals processor reported a 9% year-over-year increase in net sales in its most recent quarter.
AGRICULTURE
American Vanguard Corp. (NYSE: AVD) in Newport Beach was up 8.5% to $23.45 and a $687 million market cap. The agriculture chemicals maker beat Wall Street expectations on earnings.
REAL ESTATE
Foundation Building Materials (NYSE: FBM) in Tustin was down 7.4% to $13.60 and a $583 million market cap. The construction materials distributor lost $1.1 million in its most recent quarter, compared with net income of $3.9 million in the same period last year. Consolidated net sales increased 12% to $536 million.
TECHNOLOGY
Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) was up 12.8% to $22.77 and a $369 million market cap. The media agency and software maker said quarterly net revenue increased 41% to $4.4 million and its net loss doubled to $13 million.
