Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. was up 19% to $3.45 and a $412 million market cap. The nation’s largest operator and owner of natural gas fueling stations earned $1.5 million on $108 million in revenue in its most recent quarter, compared with a loss of $87 million on $30 million in revenue in the same period last year.
Rancho Santa Margarita-based Liquid Metal Technologies Inc. was down 20% to 13 cents and a $76 million market cap. The company lost about $2.3 million on revenue of $34,000 in its most recent quarter. The development-stage maker of amorphous alloys is in the process of being sold to Hong Kong-based Liquidmetal Technology Ltd. for $63.4 million.
