ARCHITECTURE

Tom Fo was promoted from senior member of the design team to director at the Newport Beach office of London-based Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo. Fo joined Wimberly in 1986.

CONSTRUCTION

Foster City-based Rudolph and Sletten Inc. promoted three people at its Irvine office: Martin Sisemore from senior vice president to chief operating officer for operations overseeing the San Diego and Irvine offices; Mike Castillo from project executive to vice president of operations; and Lofton Moore from project executive to vice president of operations.

EDUCATION

City Councilwoman and former Costa Mesa mayor Linda Dixon was named assistant vice president for annual giving and special events at Chapman University. Susan Knopick was promoted from director of the planned giving department to assistant vice president for major gifts.

University of Phoenix named Matt Johnston campus director for the university’s Southern California Campus, which includes 12 learning centers. He will work out of University of Phoenix’s main campus in Costa Mesa.

Robert A.Young was named associate vice president for academic programs at California State University, Fullerton. He most recently was associate dean of the college of humanities and social sciences.

Sylvia Alva was named to the newly created position of associate vice president for Cal State Fullerton’s undergraduate programs. She previously was assistant vice president for academic programs.

INSURANCE

Hilb, Rogal & Hobbs, based in Glen Allen, Va., appointed Paul Leblanc as president of its Aliso Viejo operation. Leblanc was the firm’s 2004 National Practice Leader for 401(k) plans.

LAW

Howrey, Simon, Arnold & White LLP promoted Russell Hill to partner at its Irvine office and also added attorneys Ryan Lindsey and Scott Maynard. Hill has experience in work related to electronics and communication systems companies. Lindsey specializes in biology and genetics. Maynard brings experience in microbiology and electronic surveillance.

NONPROFIT

Stewart Ross was appointed chairman for the CHOC Padrinos. Ross will serve a one-year term for the fund-raising group, which supports Children’s Hospital of Orange County and CHOC at Mission. He also is first vice president at Community Bank’s Irvine Spectrum location and serves on several council boards.

Mission San Juan Capistrano named Robert LeRoy facilities manager. His experience includes building and facility operations and preventive maintenance and repair administration.

Jeffrey Corless was elected 2005 president of the Orange County Young Republicans group.

REAL ESTATE

Dallas-based Centex Corp. hired Alfredo Ayuyao as senior vice president of land acquisition for the homebuilder’s South Coast operation in Irvine. Ayuyao comes from Richmond Amer-ican Homes where he most recently was division president for Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Anna Javier joined Irvine-based Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. as community association manager. Javier received a bachelor’s in communications from Cal State Fullerton.

Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. promoted Jeff Moore from senior vice president to managing director of its Orange County region and the Anaheim office. Moore joined the firm in 1987. Barry Katz, managing director for asset services, now manages brokerage services as well for the Orange County region.

Panattoni Development Co. LLC promoted Jeff Pintar to national partner of retail services; Adon Panattoni to director of retail services for Southern California; John T. Mehigan to development manager; and Rachel Hickenbottom to director of tenant coordinating. All four promotions are to the developer’s new retail division.

RESTAURANTS

Ashley Van Asten was named group sales manager at Thaifoon-Taste of Asia in Fashion Island and Irvine Spectrum. Van Asten previously was event coordinator with Cobianchi and Asso-ciates in Irvine.
