J.A.M. Plastics Inc., an Anaheim maker of badge holders and other products, is being bought by Brady Corp. of Milwaukee, the companies said Tuesday.
Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed. J.A.M. has yearly sales of about $10 million and employs about 80 people.
Both companies focus on security badges and related products for businesses. J.A.M. offers some 800 styles and colors of badge holders, retractable reels, neck lanyards and strap clips.
Brady counts yearly sales of about $820 million and makes more than 50,000 identification and other products. Descendants of founder William H. Brady own almost all of the voting stock of the company, which counts a market value of about $1.8 billion.
