Electric vehicle maker Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) in Irvine fell 5.5% to $85.07 apiece for a market cap of $75 billion, for a fourth consecutive day of declines. On Wednesday Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), a Rivian investor, agreed to buy battery operated delivery vans from competitor Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA).
Irvine urology-focused medical device maker Axonics Inc. (Nasdaq: AXNX) rose 6.9% to $58.58 apiece for a market cap of $2.7 billion. The company said earlier in the day it expects a 53% jump in net revenue in the fourth quarter, compared to the same period a year ago.
