OC restaurant operators were generally up on Friday amid the broader rise in restaurant stocks. The Dow Jones U.S. Restaurants & Bars Index was up 0.1% to 2,572.13.
Kura Sushi USA Inc. (Nasdaq: KRUS) rose 8.1% to $48.76. The Irvine revolving sushi bar concept had a recent market cap of $472.7 million.
Huntington Beach restaurant chain BJ’s Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI) was up 7.3% to $44.99. The company, with a market cap of $1 billion, saw former President and CFO Gregory Levin assume the helm as president and CEO at the start of this month.
