Work on the Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza store is now complete as the upscale department store retailer reveals its second-floor revamp with the Collage food hall and new designer brands.

The refresh to the second floor includes designer boutique buildouts from Balenciaga and Saint Laurent among other labels, along with a revamped sunglasses shop. The cosmetics department also added brand shops, Gucci Beauty’s first West Coast counter and new spa treatment rooms.

Meantime, the jewelry department saw the addition of two semi-private viewing rooms and new brands such as Colette, Suzanne Kalan and Hueb.

The boost to the store’s luxury shoe, handbag and beauty departments also came with the official announcement that the Collage Culinary Experience food hall is now complete with the first U.S. outpost of Singapore-based Paradise Dynasty. Other concepts inside Collage include Mah Jongs by Chef Mike, Le Shrimp Ramen, Egg LXIII, Mochinut, Cha Redefine, Bruxie, Churrino and PhoHolic.

Bloomingdale’s expects to mark the project’s completion with an Oct. 2 grand opening event.
