Acorns, an investing startup that has attracted several heavyweight investors, plans to go public later this year at a valuation topping $2 billion. His appointment comes about a month after Acorns hired Twitter Inc.’s Rich Sullivan as chief financial officer.
Hijirida holds an MBA from Wharton School, a masters of science in applied physics from Cornell University and a bachelor of science in physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
