Shares in indie Semiconductor Inc. (Nasdaq: INDI), an autotech company in Aliso Viejo, jumped 7% to $12.14 apiece for a market cap of $1.6 billion. According to Investors Business Daily, indie Semiconductor’s Relative Strength (RS) rating rose from 67 to 73 on Thursday. The company last quarter reported earnings-per-share increased 159% and revenue grew by 98%. It’s slated to report latest results on Nov. 10.
Foothill Ranch-based Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (Nasdaq: KALU) fell 12% to $100.28 per share and a $1.6 billion market cap. The manufacturer today reported weaker-than-expected Q3 results. Revenue was $751 million, up significantly from the prior year’s figure of $256 million, however it missed Wall Street’s estimate of $782.86 million. The company also reported quarterly earnings of 57 cents per share, which failed to surpass the consensus estimate of $1.32.
