The parent company of Blizzard Entertainment in Irvine said more than 20 individuals have “exited”  the video game developer and more than another 20 have faced “other types of disciplinary action” as the company is investigated for discrimination and sexual harassment. 

“We continue to look into any issues or reports raised through the many channels that are available,” Activision Blizzard Executive Vice President for Corporate Affairs Fran Townsend said in a note posted on the company’s website yesterday.

Activision Blizzard said earlier this month it is cooperating with a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation into the company’s employment practices. 

California state officials filed sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuit filed against the company in July.
