The yield on a 10-year Treasury climbed 4.4% to 1.6%.
Shares of Irvine electric vehicle maker Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) fell 13.8% to $110.95 for a market cap of $98.3 billion. The automaker and Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) shelved plans from 2019 to jointly develop an electric vehicle, according to reports Friday.
Romeo Power Inc. (NYSE: RMO) was trading down 6.1% to $4.23 on volume lower than its daily average. The maker of batteries for commercial electric vehicles, with a recent market cap of $568.1 million, is set to soon relocate headquarters from Vernon to Cypress.
