Gold rose 0.1% to $1,900.80.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury fell 1.3% to 1.59%.
Shares of Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) fell 3.5% to $7.80 for a market cap of $1.6 billion. CNBC “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer said Thursday of Clean Energy stock that “it has run out of gas because we’re not going natural gas.”
Lake Forest implantable lens maker STAAR Surgical Co. (Nasdaq: STAA) rose 2.9% to $147.46 for a market cap of $6.9 billion. The company’s up about 81% since the start of the year.
