Data analytics software maker Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) says it plans to hold its 2021 annual shareholder meeting in person on May 13 at the Marriott Irvine Spectrum in Irvine though the format may change out of COVID-19 concerns.
“We are sensitive to the public health and travel concerns our stockholders may have and recommendations that public health officials have issued because of the continuing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation,” Alteryx said in a filing with the SEC today.
The company added: “As a result of COVID-19, we may impose additional procedures or limitations on meeting attendees (beyond those described in this proxy statement) or may decide to hold the Annual Meeting in a different location or solely by means of remote communication (i.e., a virtual-only Annual Meeting).”
Alteryx’s 2020 annual meeting was held in a “virtual-only” format.
Shares in Alteryx closed up 4.4% at $82.96 apiece for a market cap of $5.5 billion.
