Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: SWKS) in Irvine rose 4.5% to $190.85 per share for a market cap of $31.5 billion. Skyworks is one of Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis’s favorites “as Apple's iPhone 13 launch looms,” Barron’s reported earlier today.
Orange-based Alignment Healthcare Inc. (Nasdaq: ALHC), a provider of Medicare Advantage insurance plans, was down 3.3% to $23.45 apiece for a market cap of $4.4 billion. Despite today’s drop, the shares have gained 35% since the company went public in March.
