The S&P 500 was flat in Monday midday trading at 4,278.81.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.6% to 34,225.48, while the Nasdaq rose 0.7% to 14,465.24.

Crude oil decreased 1.3% to $73.07 a barrel.

Gold was up 0.2% to $1,781.00.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury dropped 3.9% to 1.475%.

Among top local movers Monday was Irvine-based Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: SWKS), which rose 2.7% to $183.46 and a $30.4 billion market cap. Shares in the maker of analog semiconductors, currently trading at less than half their average daily volume, are up more than 7% in the past year.

Orange County restaurants were trending down in Monday midday trading, led by Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurant Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI), which fell 4.2% to $46.67 and a $1 billion market cap. Shares for the company are currently trading at less than one-third their average daily volume and are down about 16% in the past month.

Lake Forest-based Del Taco Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: TACO) dipped 1.6% to $9.68 and a $356 million market cap. Shares are still up 8% since the start of the year.

Newport Beach-based Chipotle Mexican Group Inc. (NYSE: CMG) was down 1.5% to $1,495.98 and a $42.1 billion market cap. Shares are up 42% in the past year, getting nearer to its 52-week high of $1,579.52.
