Irvine-based battery technology company Enevate said it has a new production license agreement with EnerTech Intl. of South Korea to commercialize the local company’s battery technology in the transportation, mobility and reserve power markets. No financial details were released.
EnerTech delivers lithium-ion cells using state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities to produce high-performance, large format batteries in demand by today’s rapidly growing markets.
“This production license agreement with EnerTech is the next milestone in Enevate's technology roadmap that leads to commercialization scheduled for 2022,” Enevate said in a statement today.
CEO Robert A. Rango added: "The next-generation battery technology is here today."
