Tilly’s Inc.’s (NYSE: TLYS) chief merchant will be parting ways with the Irvine men’s and women’s retailer next month.

The company said in filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission that Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising officer Tricia D. Smith is resigning, effective March 19.

Smith joined the company in 2019 from Nordstrom, where she oversaw the women’s young contemporary, designer and specialty apparel businesses.

Tilly’s closed down 1.4% to $10.69 on Tuesday for a market cap of $318 million.
