HEALTHCARE
Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) shares surged 77% to $12.73 on news the Newport Beach-based company reached a settlement with Irvine-based Allergan Aesthetics, a unit of AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV). The agreement allows Evolus, with a market cap of $430.2 million, to continue doing business in the U.S. with its Jeuveau, a competitor to Allergan’s Botox.


ENERGY
Shares of Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) rose 11% to $15.59, after closing down on Thursday. The Newport Beach-based company had a recent market cap of $3.1 billion. The company’s stock has about doubled since the start of the year.
