Crude oil rose 1.6% to $55.63 a barrel.
Gold was up 0.2% to $1,836.20.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury increased 1.8% to 1.125%.
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE), OC’s largest public clean tech firm, jumped 19% to $12.49 for a $2.5 billion market cap. Credit Suisse began coverage of the Newport Beach-based company with an outperform rating and a $17 price target. “We believe no other company besides CLNE has the existing fueling infrastructure across the entire U.S. to support wider and growing adoption of renewable natural gas,” Credit Suisse analyst Manav Gupta wrote in a note to investors. Shares have risen fivefold from around $2.50 since Joe Biden won the presidency.
Iteris Inc. (Nasdaq: ITI) in Santa Ana dropped 14% to $6.08 and a $251 million market cap. The company, which makes sensors and systems to track transportation and agriculture, yesterday reported fiscal third quarter revenue and earnings that missed analysts’ expectations.
