The S&P 500 was down 0.1% to 2,947.06 in midday trading Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.4% to 24,384.06, while the Nasdaq rose 0.2% to 9,305.03.

Crude oil slipped about 3% to $32.91.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was off 3% to 0.7%.


Shares of Irvine-based Inari Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: NARI) popped 119% to $41.50 in its first day of trading.
